With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Burnell Thomas Rogers Sr. (Hurdle Mills, North Carolina), who passed away on July 24, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Donny; his parents, Lemuel and Ruby; and his siblings, Clara and Jimmy.
He is survived by: his wife June Allen; his children, Tommy (Bridget) of Rocky Mount, Lou of Raleigh and Brad (Betty) of Hurdle Mills; his grandsons, Justin (Jillian) of Oxford Mississippi, Patrick of Villa Park, Joshua (Laurie) of Hurdle Mills and Joseph of Beaufort, N. C; and his great grandchild Jackson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the General Fund of Salem United Methodist Church, 933 Salem Church Road, Hurdle Mills, NC 27541.
