It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Billy Ray Lipscomb Sr. of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina, who passed away on February 6, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hudson Lipscomb and Eldorado Lipscomb; and his siblings, Anna Lee Holt, Stanley Lipscomb, Carlton Lipscomb, Wilma Brooks, Edna Flynn, Linwood Lipscomb and Joe Lipscomb.
He is survived by: his friend Brunswick; his wife Marie; his children, Christy Haas (Erich), Ray Lipscomb (Wendy), Anthony Mace and Jason Mace; his grandchildren, Keira Haas, Jessie Lipscomb, Tanner Lipscomb, Peyton Mace, Gracyn Mace and Cameron Parker; and his brother Larry Lipscomb. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Billy's life will take place at Brooks & White Funeral Home in Roxboro on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 2:00pm with masks and social distancing.
