He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Walter and Sylvia Clayton Kidd; and his siblings, Joseph Kidd, Coy Kidd, Larry Kidd, Ailene K. Bradsher, Joyce Kidd, Nita K. Mooney and Vann K. Solomon.
He is survived by: his siblings, Selby Kidd (Sylvia) of Roxboro, NC and Joan K. Horton (Russell) of Hurdle Mills, NC; and his nephews, Anthony Horton, Andrew Horton and Anderson Horton. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
