It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Wolfe Roberts (Hurdle Mills, North Carolina), born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William James Wolfe and Martha Jane Brown Wolfe; her former husband John B. Parker (Jack); and her siblings, Carlene Shelton, Erma Ruth, Lonnie Wolfe and Roger Wolfe.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas "Claiborne" Roberts; her daughters, Debbie Parker Gates (Andy) and Lora Parker Cunningham; her siblings, Jerry Lee Wolfe of Roxboro, Gene Darnell Wolfe of Hurdle Mills, Regina Bak of Hurdle Mills, Jeanette Lunsford of Hurdle Mills and Rebecca Rimmer of Durham; her grandchildren, Adam Gates, Leah Gates, Brendan Cunningham and Evan Cunningham; and also Denise Roberts Ford (Bruce). She is also survived by two step-granddaughters, and four step-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials to be made to the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery fund, 7215 Walnut Grove Church Rd., Hurdle Mills, NC 27541.
