She was predeceased by: her parents, Straley Hatcher and Doris Loraine Wilson Hatcher; and her son Joshua Brandon Everhart. She is survived by: her husband Jeff Leide; her sister Regina Spitzer (John); her niece Jessica Moore Goodwin; her daughter Sara Elizabeth Castro (Heriberto); and her grandchildren, Brandon Prudencio and Amelia Castro.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Animal Protection Society of Person County, P.O. Box 291, Roxboro, NC, 27573.
