He was predeceased by: his parents, Hayne Scurry and Mary Ellen Scurry; and his sisters, Susan Chappell and Sally Peterman. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his son Will; his grandchildren, Sloan, Carsen and Eli Scurry; and his sister Kathy Scurry. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
