He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Cornwall Burwell; his sons, Thomas (Camille) of Wilkesboro, NC and Todd (Kelly) of Huntsville, AL; his grandchildren, Keegan Burwell, McKenna Burwell and Braden Burwell; and his sister Sherie Stuecher.
