He is survived by: his wife April Bass; his children, Cierra Butler of Midland, NC and Cameron Bass of Charlotte, NC; his mother Gloria Bass Mackey of Charlotte, NC; his grandmother Lizzie Sanders of Charlotte, NC; his siblings, Surron Bass of Charlotte, NC, Satchel Bass of Charlotte, NC, Laguanda Fleming of St. Parrish and Donna Williams of Charlotte, NC; his aunt Judy Thompson (Meme Thompson) of Charlotte, NC; his uncles, Willie Smith of Charlotte, NC and Eugene Smith of Charlotte, NC; his parents-in-law, Ronald and Yvonne McDowell of Charlotte, NC; his sister-in-law Shannon Steele of Charlotte, NC; his nephew Jaedyn Steele of Charlotte, NC; his niece Jaeda Steele (Emerson Bass); and his godson Reuben Madiah of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by loving cousins and friends.
