She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Neal and Martha Steele Knox; her husband William Orr Brown, Jr.; and her sister Hazeline K. Peoples. She is survived by: her daughters, June B. Overcash (late Richard Overcash) of Huntersville and Sharon B. Allen (Rick Allen) of Bluffton, SC.; her grandchildren, Daniel Overcash, Adam Overcash (Kelli), Ashley O. Cook (Glenn) of Belmont, Andrew Wight (April) of Durango, Morgan A. Lavey (Wesley) of Greensboro and Rick Allen III (Chelsey) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.; her great grandchildren, Hadley Overcash, Cameron, Blakely Cook, Erin, Emma Overcash, Jude and Remy Wight; and her sisters, Sarah Knox and Evelyn K. Washam.
