He was predeceased by: his parents, Margie Arnell and Joseph Broffman; and his siblings, Helene Broffman, Deborah Broffman Lamotta, Carl Broffman, Timothy Broffman and Thomas Broffman.
He is survived by: his children, Grover Overby (Heather) of Huntersville, NC and Anna Jenkins of Huntersville, NC; his sisters, Phyllis Broffman Wright (Donald Wright) of West Jefferson, NC and Jacqueline Sowards (Tony Sowards) of Charlotte, NC; and his grandchildren, Austin Overby, Kayleigh Sevearance, Justin Sevearance Jr. and Ariana Sevearance. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
