It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Smith of Huntersville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Smith to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Dale and Glenna Smith; and his brother Nelson Smith. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Lucas Smith; his daughters, Lee Foster (John) of Cornelius, NC and Leslie Hutcheson (Roger) of Huntersville, NC; his grandchildren, Emily (Ryan Daugherty), Lucas Foster, Parker and Avery Hutcheson; his siblings, Judy Hamrick of Huntersville, NC and Jack Smith (Marilyn) of Morgantown, WV; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Y Smith of Youngsville, NC and Cathy Wilson of Fairview, WV.. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Huntersville United Methodist Church (14005 Stumptown Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078).
