He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Matthew Rowan and Helen Genevieve Rowan (Isenberg). He is survived by: his wife Vicki Brown Rowan of Denver, NC; his son James Richard Rowan (Rebecca) of Chapin, SC; his siblings, Eleanor Fiol (David) of Penny Farm, FL and James Wendell Rowan (Faye) of Wilmington, DE; and his grandchildren, Mya Kathryn and Anna James.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home (16901 Old Statesville Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078). A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Crown Memorial Park (9620 Rodney St, Pineville, NC 28134).
