It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Calhoun Carr (Huntersville, North Carolina), who passed away on August 26, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Rebecca Donaldson Calhoun and Lorenzo William Calhoun; and her siblings, Francis Kilcrease (Leon), Nell Scarborough (Ralph) and Horace Calhoun (Laura).
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Newman Carr; her daughters, Kimberly Carr Sailors (Mark) and Bronwyne Carr Chapman (John); her grandchildren, Taylor, Harrison Walls, Jack, Henry and Callie Chapman; and her siblings, Tina Flatten (Pete), Sue Burt (Larry), Diane Wood (Howard), Mack Calhoun (Shairlon), Macon Calhoun and Jackie Calhoun (Diane).
