He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick McCartt and Pauline McCartt; his brother Edward; and his nephew Eddie of Akron, Ohio.. He is survived by: his wife Gloria McCartt; his children, Brian McCartt (Hannah) of Charlotte and Kelly Blocker (Brett) of Harker Heights, Texas.; his grandchildren, Taylor McCartt (Brandi) of Hanford, Allyson Hipsley (Nic Mead) of Fort Mill, SC, Bailey Blocker (Marina) of Lawrence, McKenzie, Samantha Blocker of Harker Heighst, TX and Matthew McCartt (Damaris) of Ft Polk; his great grandchildren, Nixon, Greyson, Cannon Mead and Jett Jackson McCartt; his sister Beverly Powell (Gary) of Mogadore; and his close friend Maggiedog.
