She was predeceased by: her parents, Payton Brown and Annie Brown; her husband Eric Donald Macon, Sr.; and her sister Lorraine Brown Newbold. She is survived by: her children, Eric D. Macon, Jr. (Karen) of Irmo, SC, Donna Stroud (Roy) of Mint Hill and Pamela Izokovic (Larry) of Huntersville. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
