She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Jackson James and Ida Aline Holcomb James; and her husband Oran Caldwell Davis. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Auten (Wayne) of Huntersville and Patsy Holt (Jeff) of Huntersville. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Independence Hill Baptist Church (10220 Independence Hill Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078).
