She was predeceased by: her husband Ben Elwyn Hicks (Benny); and her parents, Felix Helms and Estelle Helms. She is survived by: her children, Kim Hicks Sizemore (Jeff) of Blythewood and Kevin Hicks (Heather) of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Jacob Sizemore, Clayton Sizemore, Mason Hicks and Emily Hicks; her great grandchild Lailah Hicks; and her siblings, Loretta Washam (Hal), Beverly Hanft (Shel), Larry Helms and Ronnie Helms (Sarah).
