He is survived by: his children, Roger Cathey (Sylvia) of Little River, SC, Donna Sadler of Denver and Candy Kidd (Chris) of Charlotte; his sister Dot Horne of Charlotte; and his grandchildren, Lee Sadler (Quinn), Kristi McRorie (Mark), Chip Cathey (Kristin), Brian Cathey (Erin), Carrie Keltner (Dan), Daniel Kidd (Ali), Jenny Shank (Lee) and Katie Cathey (Terry Butner).
