He is survived by: his wife Alice Solomon; his sisters, Terrie Sites (Greg), Sarah Clement and Linda Liddington; his aunt Nancy Patterson; his stepdaughter Jennifer Hayes; his stepgrandchildren, Raegan and Avery Hayes; his stepson Van James (Jenny); his stepgrandchildren, Turner and Carson James; his nephews, Abe and Gabe Sites; and also Emily.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kepner Funeral Home (16901 Old Statesville Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078).
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project.
