She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucky Thompson and Goldie Thompson; her friend Katherine Neely; and her brother-in-law Doug Sweeney. She is survived by: her children, Hoyt Rorrer (Jennifer), Brandi McAtee and Kearston Rorrer-Murphy (Michael Murphy); her grandchildren, Marco Kitts, Rob Kitts and Elora; and her siblings, Brenda Sweeney, Betty Thompson, Clarence Thompson and Wanda Burggraff (Jim). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Linda's honor to Levine & Dickson Hospice House at 11900 Vanstory Drive, Huntersville, NC 28078.
