She was predeceased by: her father Wilfred Peter Pekrul. She is survived by: her mother Muriel Hallgren Pekrul; her husband Michael Mullen; her daughters, Elizabeth Reilly (Justin) of Midland, Elena Mullen of Cornelius and Olga Mullen of Cornelius; her grandchildren, Aidan, Chloe, Levi, Lyla and Michael; and her siblings, Daniel Pekrul, Lisa Lange (Kevin) and Jayne Higginbotham (Keith). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.
Memorials may be made to St. Mark Catholic Church in Huntersville, North Carolina.
