It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Edward Morris (Huntersville, North Carolina), born in Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John Edward may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Edward touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Morris; his stepsons, Mark Allred and Jeff Allred; his brothers, Larry Morris (Norma) and Jay Watson Morris (Linda); and also, Ashlyn and Annita. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kepner Funeral Home (16901 Old Statesville Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078). A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Salisbury National Cemetery.
