It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Eblen of Huntersville, North Carolina, born in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on January 30, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mervin Eblen and Helen Eblen; his sons, Benjamin T. Eblen and Travis Luke Eblen; his grandsons, James and Owen; and his sisters, Kathryn Jessup, Margaret Adams and Elizabeth Sarfati.
