It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Boomer of Huntersville, North Carolina, born in Wheeling, West Virginia, who passed away on February 23, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Boomer and Margaret Boomer; and his stepdaughter Emily Lazes. He is survived by: his wife Cecilia Smith Boomer; his children, Noah Lazes of Cornelius, Bobby Boomer (Beverly) of Huntersville and Kelly Crookshanks of Grovetown, GA; his brother Joe of New Symrna Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Lex, Abby, Ally Crookshanks, Mary, Charlie Boomer and Mick Lazes; and his nieces, Carol Glunt and Sara Boomer.
