He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pender and Rosa Etta Pender. He is survived by: his wife Dot Pender; his children, Rick Pender (Nidza) of Villa Rica, GA, Donna Harwell (Jeff) of Stanley and Kelly Peterson (Richard) of Huntersville; his sister Frances Osborn; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Pender. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
