He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gillespie Bishop; his son Mike Bishop (Natalie) of Shelby; his grandchildren, Lauren McKay (Kyle), Brent Bishop and Daniel Bishop; his great grandchildren, Caroline McKay, J. McKay and Jack McKay; his sister-in-law Earnestine Bishop of Shelby; and his niece Sheila Adams (David).
