She was predeceased by: her husband David L. "Bud" Swanger, Sr.; and her parents, Hugh Underwood and Edna Underwood. She is survived by: her sons, David L. Swanger, Jr. (Debbie) and Daniel H. Swanger (Rebecca); her granddaughters, Rebecca, Monica and Amanda; and her great grandchild Zoey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
