It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Michael Sweeney of Huntersville, North Carolina, born in Berwyn, Illinois, who passed away on February 12, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, George Warner, Jr. and Mary Lillis O'Hearn Sweeney; and his stepfather John R. "Jack" Sweeney. He is survived by : his wife Diane; his daughters, Leigh Teague (Scott) and Kerry Sweeney; and his grandchildren, Logan of Huntersville, NC. and Carson Teague of Huntersville, NC.. He is also survived by his wife, two daughters, son-in-law and beloved grandchildren.
