Gene Phillips Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 3, 2020, at the age of 85, Gene Phillips of Huntersville, North Carolina, born in Murray, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Phillips and Eurah Phillips (Parks); and his wife Jackie. He is survived by: his sons, Steve Phillips (Susan) of Alexandria, VA, Stan Phillips (Valerie) of Davidson, NC and Getachew Giorgis (Abeba) of Raleigh, NC; his brother David Phillips (Pam) of Gulfshores, Alabama; and his granddaughters, Alyssa and Kristina.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Huntersville (in the name of the Jackie and Gene Phillips Youth Scholarship Fund) 119 N. Old Statesville Rd., Huntersville, NC 28078.
