He was predeceased by: his father Wilbur Kendig. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Grace Kendig; his children, Emily Foley (Flint) of Huntersville, NC, Benjamin of Wentzville and Zachary (Adrienne) of St. Louis, MO; his siblings, Fred, David, Thomas and Pamela; and his grandchildren, Zayda, Easton and Case.

Memorials may be made to Assurance United Methodist Church and the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
