She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Covelli and Rosemary Covelli (Covelli); her son Brian Shaffer; her grandmother Rose Gigliotti; and her siblings, Rosemary Pennington and Anthony Magi.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard M. Shaffer (Denise) and Patrick A Shaffer (Kimberly); her grandsons, Richard Shaffer (Danielle), Patrick Shaffer (Olivia), Christopher Shaffer (Jesse), Connor Shaffer and Randy Shaffer; and her great grandchildren, Sienna James and Colbie Quinn Shaffer. She is also survived by children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers or trees the family requests that all donations be made to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
