Though Evelyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Evelyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl McQueen and Beulah McQueen; and her husband Jack. She is survived by: her daughters, Darlene Cash (Tommy) of Powell, WY, Belinda Richardson (Tim) of Charlotte and Toni Hall (Dale) of Concord; and her sister Louise Bissette. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the James Funeral Home (10520 Arahova Dr, Huntersville, NC 28078). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (119 N Old Statesville Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078).
