We are sad to announce that on August 11, 2024, at the age of 102, Emily Harvin Hite Grier of Huntersville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Susan Jones and Percy Bethune Harvin; her siblings, Percy Bethune Harvin, Jr., Thomas Harvey Harvin, Robert Jones Harvin, Benjamin Skinner Harvin and Mary White Harvin Casteen; her husbands, Everett Ernest Hite, Jr. and Dr. John Miller Grier; and her son Everett Ernest Hite III.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Hite Pollak (Greg), David Harvin Hite (Vicki) and Martha Ann Hite Seay (Eric); her daughter-in-law Susan Crowson Hite; her grandchildren, Julia Seay, Lauren Seay, Everett Hite (Codi), Jamison Hite Stoddard (Brandon) and Michael Hite; her great grandchild Lucas Gross; and her extended family, Mary Ann Grier, Dr. John Miller Grier, Jr. (Brenda), Dr. Howard Davis Grier (Sandy) and Paul Hayward Grier (Susan). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
