He is survived by: his wife Sheila Strain-Bell of Huntersville, NC; his brothers-in-law, Boyd Strain of Harrisburg and William Robert Strain of Elkins Park, Pennsylvania.; and his nieces and nephews, George Robert Gaines, Thomas A. Grant of Boston, Massachusetts, Sheila M. Grant, Rene Gaines and Robyn Gaines of Boston, Massachusetts. He is also survived by many great-nephews, great-nieces, and other extended family.
