It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Lewis Griffin (Huntersville, North Carolina), born in Odum, Georgia, who passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Rachel Griffin; his sons, Doug (Paula), Greg (Carmen) and Matt (Caroline); his grandchildren, Alexandra, Christian and Gabrielle; and his brother Herbert Griffin. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
