He is survived by: his children, Eduardo Enrique Pineiro Salas, Luis Alfredo Pineiro Salas, Jessica Milagros Francovig and Nelly Rosa Alvarado; his children-in-law, Manuel Alvarado, Gino Francovig and Ilse Barros; and his grandchildren, Manolo, Stuart, Erik, Julio Martin, Eduardo Jr. (EJ), Connie Patricia and Luigi.
