Though Debra Leigh may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Debra Leigh touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Jane Overcash Parke and Harvey Lee Overcash. She is survived by: her brother Curtis Overcash (Darren); her stepmother Kaye Overcash; and her aunt Mildred Parnell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Christian Church (1200 East Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28203). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Deb's memory to InReach or First Christian Church, two communities that played an important role in her life.
