Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved David Mazurek of Huntersville, North Carolina, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away at the age of 78, on November 2, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Mazurek and Julia Kasprzyk Mazurek; and his nephew Christopher Prusakowski. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Iwanski Mazurek; his son Jason; his daughter-in-law Kathy; his granddaughter Logan Mazurek of Charlotte; his sister Sylvia Mazurek Prusakowski of Phoenix; his sister-in-law Phyllis Carlo; his nephew Joseph Carlo (Kim); and his nieces, Lena Carlo Carney (Ryan) and Julie Carlo.

Instead, he asked that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation https: //http://www.arthritis.org, which David and Arlene were actively involved. Donations may also be made to the NAEMT Foundation (National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians) http://www.naemt.org as Dave adamantly requested during his short illness that he wanted to recognize these heroes for the work that they are doing.
