He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Holcomb and Margaret Colbert Holcomb; and his sister Joan Louise Miller. He is survived by: his wife Deborah R. Shrout of Charlotte; his children, Shelly Davis, Stacey Hatcher (William) of Charlotte and Mark Holcomb of Concord, CA; his grandchildren, Madeline Davis of Charlotte, Jessica Davis of Charlotte, Caleb Luckadoo of Charlotte, Alex Hatcher of Charlotte and Noah Hatcher of Charlotte; and his brothers, Thomas Holcomb (Sally) of Beach Island, SC and Edward Holcomb (Linda) of Titusville, PA. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
