It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Derespinis of Huntersville, North Carolina, born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on June 6, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Mecca and Theresa Mecca; her husband Guido Derespinis; her son John Derespinis; and her brother Frank Mecca.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Derespinis (Lisa), Victoria Manischewitz (Michael) and Theresa Summa (Sal); her grandchildren, Marc, Jacline, Victoria, Neil, Lisa, Cristina and Taylor; and her sister Joanne.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
