She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Mark Thomas and Alvin Thomas; her husband Paget E. Hughes; and her sister Deborah Thomas Prince. She is survived by: her daughter Paige A. Hughes (Jeromy Rouse); her grandchildren, Jade Rouse, Jacob Rouse and Paisley Rouse of Charlotte, NC; her stepson Kim (Greer); her niece Tai J. Grant of Charlotte, NC; her nephews, Kamoru Jimoh Jr. of Charlotte, NC and Michael Prince; her great-nephew Jaelin Grant; her great-niece Tabitha Grant of Charlotte, NC; and her close friends, Deborah Brooks and Barbara Brumfield of New Orleans, LA. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
