It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Lou Pierce of Huntersville, North Carolina, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on October 26, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Banks Pettus and Lila Pettus; her siblings, Margaret Ann Dulin and Lloyd Donald Pettus; and her grandson Nicholas Edward Pierce.

She is survived by: her husband Roland Edward Pierce; her children, Robin Westmoreland (Keith) of Huntersville, Edward Pierce (Melinda) of Huntersville and Eric Pierce of Huntersville; and her grandchildren, Matthew, Casey, Amanda, Meagan, Patrick and Katie.
