She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Durward Godfrey and Bertha Pangle Godfrey; her husband Charles Wayne Whitley; and her sisters, Aline Wood, Bobbie Fussell and Nancy Hamby.
She is survived by: her daughter Tracey; her son-in-law Bobby Hilker; her sister Edith Caldwell; and her grandchildren, Amy Poston (Jake), Jessie Anklin and Anna Anklin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
