She was predeceased by: her parents, Leah Miller and Berthold Miller. She is survived by: her sister LaRetta Flora of Denver, Colorado; her daughters, Deborah "Deb" Porter of Dallas, Texas, Patricia "Trish" Boyd of Charlotte and Karen Wantland of Huntersville; her sons-in-law, Larry Porter, Kemper Boyd and Dennis Wantland; her grandchildren, Trevor Wantland, Rachel Porter, Miller Boyd, Sidney Wantland and Riley Wantland; and also Lisa Beery. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and life-long friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are made in Bertie's name to the Community in Christ Lutheran Church.
