It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Leagon of Huntersville, North Carolina, born in Forest City, North Carolina, who passed away on March 7, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Price and Iva Price; her husband Ernest Leagon; her son-in-law Jeff Reid; and her great grandchild Hudson Welch.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kim Hoke (Dan) of Stanley, Vickie Reid of Huntersville and Susan Kirk of Huntersville; her grandchildren, Bethany Reid Welch (Jamie), Robert Leagon Hoke (Allison), Julie Hoke Phillips (Michael) and Nick Reid; her great grandchildren, Sarah Hoke, Hayden Welch, Hunter Welch, Lily Phillips, Meghan Hoke and Tucker Phillips; and her pet Jasmine. She is also survived by her cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as all of her friends.
