She was predeceased by: her parents, William McElroy and Anne McElroy; and her sister Jane Lee. She is survived by: her husband Ronnie B. Griffin, Sr.; her children, Ronna Privette (Wayne) of Stanley, NC, Ronald Griffin, Jr. (Penny) of Stanley, NC and Clay Griffin (Patti) of Cornelius, NC; her grandchildren, Ashley Walker (Steve), Alicia Chavis (Nathan), Dana Lynch (Mitchell), Brad Griffin (Brittany) and Cortney Griffin; her great grandchildren, Addison, William and Bellamy; and her brother Bill McElroy (Marsha). She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church cemetery fund or general fund, 6230 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte, NC 28216.
