With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anastasia Joanne Marin of Huntersville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2025 at the age of 32. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Anastasia shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Anastasia farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her mother Elena Celine of Huntersville, NC; her significant other Chris Gillespie of Huntersville, NC; her daughter Elizabeth Place of Huntersville, NC; and her stepdaughter Marley Gillespie (Chris) of Clover, SC.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Carolina Funeral Service and Cremation Center (5505 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC 28212). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Gillespie Home.
