It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Virginia Miller of Hudson, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 92, on December 23, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Curtis Koontz Sr. and Eustace Douglas Koontz; her husband Robert B Miller Jr.; her siblings, Jack Douglas, Carl Curtis Koontz Jr., Euel Koontz and Almonta Beane; her grandson Robert Gary Miller Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Toni Maddy Hicks and Ray Starnes.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Gary Miller Sr. (Sharon), Lewis Ray Miller (Donna), Carolyn Jeanne Kale (Harold) of Sawmills, Virginia Gail Evert (James) of Sawmills, Brenda Joyce Miller of Sawmills and Roberta Lou Canipe (William) of Sawmills; and her sisters, Dorcas Drum and Veronica McDougle. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 23 great great-grandchildren.

“I am one of the 14 grandchildren of Virginia Miller. She was such a good Christian woman. She would treat everyone with love and compassion, she was there for all of all, always. She brought my back to church more than one time in my life. I am happy ahe is with our Lord and Savior and with my Grandpa Miller. I love you Grandma! You will always be remembered and cherished!”
