He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Perry Cannon and Myrtle Leslie Smith Cannon; his siblings, Jake Cannon, Bruce Cannon, Rex Cannon, Terry Cannon, Bobby Cannon, Louise Gray and Phyllis Amos; and his pets, Molly and Macy.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadean Cannon of Hudson, NC; his children, Jeremiah B. Cannon of Florida, Timmy Slack of Troy, NC and Nicole Slack of Troy, NC.; his siblings, Jerold Cannon (Sheila) of Lenoir, NC, Wayne Cannon (Deloris) of Boone, NC, Timmy Cannon (Tina) of Happy Valley, NC., Jo Ann Gray (Don) of Baton, NC, Kay Woods of Albemarle, NC and Penny Triplett (Roger) of Lenoir, NC; and his grandchildren, Liam Cannon, Jaey'Lyn Little and Jacq'Lyn Little. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
