It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Theresa Annas of Hudson, North Carolina, who passed away on December 23, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Newton Smith and Mae Wilson Smith; her husband Floyd; and her sister Jewel Smith Powell. She is survived by: her sons, Neil (Lou Anne) of Sawmills and Mark (Lisa) of Sawmills; her siblings, Pauline Smith Day (Troy) of Kannapolis, Maecile Smith Ramsey of Sawmills and Wilson O. Smith of Sawmills; her grandchildren, Lauren Tilton (Ryan), Cameron Annas (Tiffany), Holly Annas and Aaron Annas; and her great grandchildren, Max Tilton, Cammie and Jak Kerns.
A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 2:00 p. m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church, Sawmills, N. C. The family asks that social distancing guidelines be followed.
